Left, Right and Center in India...

During early stages, Left and Right (political terms) were used during French Revolution in 18th century during eras of Monarchy. Royal families ruled at that time. Why Revolution happened? Corruptions, defective exploitative economy, nobility and social discrimination, religious intolerance, terrible

drought played pivotal role for revolution. After establishment of Parliament, sitting arrangement in it was interesting. People who favored Monocracy sat at right side and people who favored Democracy at the left.

People who loved Monarchy were rich. They disliked change and that is the reason why they are tagged as Conservatives. On the other hand, people who believed in change identified themselves as Reformist and Revolutionary. Nowadays they are called Leftist.

Let’s come to present situation. There are Democrats and Republicans in USA, Indian National Congress and Bhartiya Janta Party in India, Pakistan People's Party and Jamaat-e- Islami in Pakistan, Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Awami League in Bangladesh, Communist Party of Sri Lanka and United National Party of Sri Lanka which are competing against each other.

Leftists believe in Religion and Government must be separate. They believe in same sex marriage, oppose death penalty, promote open immigration and impose higher taxes on rich. In contrast Rightists believe in one state on religion, anti- abortion, reducing tax so innovation can increase (if you are capitalist!) and in closed immigration. Some rationales manipulate ideologies as per situation, so they declare themselves as Left leaning, Right leaning and Centre oriented. Some believe in economically Left wing while some believe in socially Right wing. Communism is extreme Left where Socialism is Left leaning and AAP is centring Right and BJP is extreme right. Rightists believe that market must be independent. Ha ha ha, because they are capitalist too !

In India, all parties support Left ideology in the context of subsidy. Before 1990, India closed Foreign Direct Investment and simultaneously any party from India did support same sex

marriage! How beautiful hotchpotch our country is?

In conclusion, I support left leaning party. Why? Because, as per Oxfam report of 2019, 1% Indian hoard 73% wealth of the nation. What about you? People who believe in inequality must visit Psychologist as early as possible, so we can seriously make the world better.
